sseborne, a Victorian country house sitting high on the hill above the lovely Bourne Valley, amidst the splendour of the North Wessex Downs, was for 80 years a private country retreat.
Once referred to as being 'invitingly snug', the house still retains the feel of a private home with luxuriously decorated rooms, an abundance of fresh flowers and fruit in the comfortable lounges, 19 bedrooms where you are pampered with fine linen, fluffy towels & robes, local spring water & home made biscuits, and warm & caring staff, all the comforts of home.

The Mill Room which is set over the river caters for parties and receptions of up to 90 people, and with its stunning riverside conservatoy, allows evening parties of up to 150.
Situated in our extensive grounds. The Stable Room, formerly and old dairy parlour was converted in 1983 to make an ideal venue for smaller parties. This room was one of the first locations to be licensed for wedding ceremonies and has now become the most popular in the area
